Common Country Assessment (CCA) - 2001Back

3 August 2001

The document is a result of collective efforts of the UN Country Team in Georgia. It aims at presenting the analysis of some of the most pressing challenges the country faces after a decade of independence and at providing a strategic framework for future planning. Its purpose is to define the priorities for Georgia’s development and show ways in which the UN Country team plans to collaborate in response to these priorities. The document is also a first attempt to bring together all UN conventions to which Georgia is signatory and to show the progress of their implementation in the country.
